We are living in trying times right now. Due to COVID-19, many people around the world are being quarantined, while others have temporary restricted access to daily activities. While this can be unsettling, we have a choice about how to respond to it. Do we resist what we know we cannot change or do we find creative ways to not only accept it, but actually embrace it?
I choose the latter. I've chosen not to finish the winter session for yoga and Zumba was cancelled for two weeks, so I had no decision to make there. I have no doctor appointments coming up in the next two weeks (no complaints there!), and no events scheduled to attend. (Most events have been cancelled anyway.) In other words, besides going to the grocery store weekly and the library about weekly (as long as they do stay open), I will be home A LOT.
Here are 23 things I plan to focus more on during this time (in no specific order):
1. Working on jigsaw puzzles
2. Coloring
3. Cross stitching
4. Blogging
5. Emailing friends
6. Watching movies
7. Catching up on recorded shows
8. Writing (the old fashioned way with pen and paper)
9. Reading
10. Dancing to Zumba videos
11. Taking indoor pictures
12. Beading
13. Practicing yoga
14. Meditating
15. Clearing clutter
16. Cooking
17. Sleeping
18. Cleaning out my email inbox
19. Making cards
20. Snuggling with Qandi
21. Working on my online photography class
22. Doing Sudoku puzzles
23. Practicing yoga nidra
