Qandi's Gotcha Date

18 years ago today, this beautiful girl came to live with me in her forever home. Qandi would go on to live for 17+ years. I retired on disability in 2010, which allowed me to spend more time at home with her for most of her life. I feel so very blessed and grateful to have spent that much time with her. Not a day goes by when I don't think of her. Her portrait (this same picture) is on the wall in the bedroom where I can still see her every day. I am always telling stories to Bell and Fiona about their "Auntie Qandi". They're probably tired of hearing how disciplined she was (because they are not!). I hope you're resting well across Rainbow Bridge, sweet girl. Mommy will always miss and love you.
