Happy World Photography Day!
For me, nature and photography go together like popcorn and nutritional yeast. It's because I started taking walks several years ago that my love for photography was born. I'm no professional and I don't strive to be. I'm just a girl with a camera (often 3 at a time...don't judge) who loves to capture nature. An unintentional benefit has been that it helps me see the world from different perspectives. I will often take a picture, look at it later, notice something I had not seen before, then go back and look for what I had not seen before the next day if possible.
When I got home from the dentist today, I decided to go for a walk - my first in a while. Although it's still a bit too hot for me, I did enjoy the fresh air and scenery. Here are some pics I took.

I spied a rainbow hidden in the crepe myrtles.

I've been seeing a lot of dragonflies.

Like with clouds, I enjoy finding patterns in shadows.

Dear Fall, I see you lurking in the trees.

Lamp posts are one of my favorite man-made objects to photograph.
