Dear Stephanie,

It's been exactly 11 years since I saw you for the last time. I remember we were celebrating your birthday two months late, partly because of the weather that winter and partly because I was already in the midst of what was arguably the most challenging year of my life. So we waited until I was on Spring Break. I miss you more than words can say, but I'm so grateful my last moments with you in this world was one of the happiest days of my life. It was a cloudy, misty day, but as the sun shines 11 years later, I'll always remember you for the light you brought and continue to bring into my world.
