I'm grateful for Earth and all the beauty this amazing planet provides. One thing I've been very aware of during the pandemic is how nature keeps doing its thing. As the election results were still being counted yesterday (and still are this morning), I found great comfort in my late morning walk. Being aware of how beautiful our home planet is keeps me grounded.
These photos were all taken yesterday. My part of the state is currently in different phases of fall foliage.
Some trees are still very green.
Some trees are in full fall colors mode.
Some trees have begun to shed their leaves.
And some have already let go of all of their leaves.
