Dear Stephanie,

When I woke up this morning, I was not feeling well. I eventually felt better, so I went for my walk in the afternoon. I typically prefer not to walk so late in the day, but it certainly does have its benefits and I'm so glad I did!

I stayed close to home, circling around the path at the front of the community a few times. As I passed by one tree, I noticed the most intricate and beautiful spider web. But it wasn't just the elegant design that caught my attention. From where I was standing, the sun hit it just right and formed a kaleidoscope of rainbow colors within it. The resident was home at the time, so I did not get too close. I tried to take a picture, but it the resulting photograph does it no justice compared to the beauty of what I witnessed.

I remember that you were terrified of spiders, like I am of bees (though I highly respect them). When I saw the kaleidoscope of rainbow colors within the spider's web, however, I could only take it as a sign that you have overcome your fear. WTG!!

This was one of those moments that I believe was just meant for us to share since I wasn't able to get a good picture of it (I only had my phone camera with me at the time). Even though I am not able to show anyone a picture of what I saw, I thought I'd write to you and let you know I noticed you. I hope my words do it some justice. Thanks for continuing to be such a beautiful part of my life.

Luv ya lots,
Meezan

  1. There things a picture can't capture, just as the feeling and the bond somebody has with a lost friend.
