I am so overwhelmed with gratitude, I just have to share with you an experience I had today.
A few years ago, I started shopping at a locally owned pet supply store for all of Qandi's basic needs. Every time I go there, I feel like it's a small town atmosphere where everyone knows your name and is just so kind. Like a Hallmark movie. Lol.
Today was the first time I went there since Qandi crossed Rainbow Bridge. My intention was just to look, but as it turns out, they are having a sale this weekend on all cat supplies. So, in preparation for adopting again (hopefully soon!!), I stocked up on supplies.
There was one item that I wanted four of, but they only had three. The person who works there, who is almost always there when I go, called a different location and they said they have more. The plan, I thought, was to have the fourth one mailed to me. I made that suggestion so that he didn't have to drive over there and pick it up, which is what he offered to do.
Fast forward a few hours later and there was a knock on my door. It was the same employee from the pet supply store who I had seen earlier. He drove to the other location, picked up the fourth item I needed, AND dropped it off at my home!
My heart is filled with so much gratitude that people like this exist in this world. Let's all take time to celebrate them and pay it forward.
Those little moments of kindness can sure make ones' day. I know your new kittens will have a loving home.
