I recently noticed that Qandi was starting to develop knots on her fur again. I decided to take her to the groomers before it got too bad like it was last year.
She was also due for a nail trimming, so everything was done all at once.
The groomer was able to brush most of the knots out, only having to shave a small section on one of her legs. I was pleasantly surprised how much fluffier Qandi was when she was done.
It appeared that the groomer brushed her both ways, including "against the grain". I had never thought of doing that before, but I will now. She was sent home with a cute little red and white collar with hearts that complemented her black and white fur perfectly.
She had to be dropped off at the groomer's and was picked up a few hours later. I can't tell you how quiet and lonely it was at home without her for those three hours. I was so happy to have her back home, as I'm sure she was happy to be home as well.
