Yesterday was National Gingerbread Cookie Day. Here in the U.S., it seems we have a national day for everything, and for each of them, I bet I can find at least one movie that I like. Such is the case for "Gingerbread Miracle". It's your typical Hallmark romance, but with a serving of gingerbread cookie magic in it. The belief is that when you wish upon a gingerbread cookie that was especially made for you, your wish will come true. One of my favorite lines in the movie is, "Wishing is a way to figure out what your heart wants." Wishes may not always come true in the way we expect them to, but by making a wish, we are more aware of what our heart truly desires. In that way, a wish can be like the North Star, leading us in the direction of our dreams.
