Happy World Spina Bifida Day!

Everyday is Spina Bifida Day for me. I advocate for myself, whether it's Spina Bifida related or not, on a daily basis with the choices I make. No matter what your cause is, don't underestimate the power you have every single day to create change.

I started my day with a glass of water, as I do everyday. Then I Crosscycled with weights mixed in. Afterwards, I did yoga and meditation. I haven't been doing yoga and meditation regularly, but I'm on a mission to change that.

After breakfast (smoothie, boiled egg, and air-popped popcorn!) I went for my walk. I walked later than usual because it was so cloudy this morning and I was craving sunshine. When I walked at 11:00 there was not a cloud in the sky!

There are two colors that represent Spina Bifida awareness - teal and yellow. My preference is yellow, so on my walk I went on a scavenger hunt for yellows.
