  1. July

    1. Sunrise at 5:30am and sunset at 8:30pm means more light and energy to do anything!
    2. The days are hot, mornings and evenings are very warm. You can stay outside for longer (provided you have shade and water). It’s perfect for hiking, cycling and the beach.
    3. There are no strong winds, so the sea is calm, warm and perfect for diving.
    4. Plants are still lush and not dry yet
    5. Amazing aromas - linden trees, lavender and roses!
    6. Bee-eaters and swallows
    7. Apricots and peaches
    8. Ice cream
    9. Better health - Sunbathing and swimming in the sea are excellent immuno-boosters. Vitamin D; better skin. I have better circulation and my hands and feet aren’t cold. My nose isn’t stuffed and I can breathe.
    10. Wearing less clothes and not dressing in layers.
    11. Laundry dries fast.
    12. Compared to August it’s not crazy busy with tourists.

    1. Thank you for sharing, Mihail! I think I remember your mentioning bee-eaters before, but I had to look them up. What an interesting bird! It's funny, July is actually my least favorite month, weather-wise. It is typically the hottest month of the year here and it can also get very humid. I find the heat and humidity too oppressive to bear, so I consider July my hibernation month. I'm also not a fan of thunderstorms (despite how much I adore Thor), which we get a lot of in the summer. I won't argue against ice cream, though. :-)
